Say hello to paradise! This gorgeous infinity pool can be found at Salty Breeze, in the most southern tip of Bali. Salty Breeze is a new, small resort with a few huts, bungalows and a villa with private pool, located a few minutes from Greenbowl Beach – one of the prettiest beaches of Bali. Funny fact: you won’t find this resort on any booking site. You can book via DM on Insta or Facebook! While I was on Bali last spring, I got a comment from Salty Breeze on Instagram, took a look at their profile and immediately fell in love. I sent them a DM, and a few minutes later the ‘tree house’ was booked for me!
Accomodation types at Salty Breeze
As said, they have several types of accomodation at Salty Breeze. You can see all of them in their Story Highlights on Insta. I fell in love with this ‘tree house’, although it’s not a literal tree house but it does feel like it. It has two stories (the bathroom is downstairs), which really makes it feel like your own little villa.
Besides the tree house there are wooden huts, sea view bungalows, a super cute boutique room, a villa with a private pool and they recently opened up a big two-story villa for families up to 4 people. What sets Salty Breeze apart from many other accomodations, is their interior design. These rooms definitely look like you’d want your own fancy house to look like! Decorated with thought, in a cosy but minimalistic way with a soft and subtle color palette and natural fabrics.
At the time of my stay, Salty Breeze didn’t have it’s own restaurant yet. There might be plans to open one later though. But, it wasn’t an inconvenience because the resort is located next to the fancy Raptor surf camp and there is a short cut to their common areas which you can use for free!
The restaurant serves an all you can eat breakfast with options like pancakes, French toast, eggs, toast and more. During the rest of the day their chefs make some healthy salads, smoothiebowls, juices and a few Indonesian specialties. From the restaurant you step out onto the roof terrace that overlooks the ocean. A perfect sunset spot too. Another few steps bring you down to the enormous infinity pool, with many sunbeds and other places to relax. Another upside to the cooperation between Salty Breeze and Raport: free yoga every morning (with sea view!) and you can take surf classes as well.
Salty Breeze is located in the southern tip of Bali, on the bukit, near Uluwatu. The area close to it is still untouched and quiet, so it’s a true sanctuary! There’s practically nothing in walking distance and at night it gets super dark, so a scooter is recommended to get around. It’s the perfect spot to start exploring the many hidden beaches this part of Bali has to offer, and it’s only twenty minutes to all the cool restaurants and bars of Uluwatu.
